rare accessory : iris multi diameter lens attachment

Here is a rare accessory for old wood camera (c.1880)

this brass iris opens and closes at a max of 4,8cm as aperture blades would do

but it is made of solid metal

then it allows to support lenses of various diameters without need of any flange

perfect for use lot of different lenses on the same camera without having to change the complete wood board...
