"KLITO" particular detective by HOUGHTON

here is the KLITO detective camera made by HOUGHTON London c.1900/1905

It is the KLITO n°1 for 8x10,5cm glass plates

the back opens with 2 doors, biggest one up is to load new glass plates in the 12 plates automatic magazine

the small one on the bottom is to pick up exposed glasses after they have fallen down.

So now, what is very special with this detective camera is the focusing system with pinion rack and bellows !

interesting isn't it ? (despite the fact its name KLITO sounds like Clito the abbreviation for French word "clitoris" (clit in English)) :-)
